This incident happens about 2-and-half months after a big-scale cross-border operation in nearby Kursk province‚ where Ukrainian forces made a quick-push into Russian territory. During that attack hundreds of russian soldiers were captured and moved away in military trucks; it was the biggest raid since WW2

Ukraineʼs GUR intelligence service spotted about 3000 north korean soldiers in Kursk area on wednesday; these troops got winter clothes and did some training in east-russia camps (but GUR didnt show proof of this info)
