Russian unmanned aircraft hit Kyiv in early hours of sunday (its the second strike in two nights). Serhiy Popko head of the citys military admin reported no one got hurt during multi-wave assault that came from various directions
The attack left its mark on city infrastructure: damaged power-lines roads and several buildings (including a student housing and office complex) in well-known districts; Shevchenkivskyi with its uniʼs and tourist spots‚ and Holosiivskyi - home to a big nature park
Local defense systems worked non-stop during night-time hours: military officials say they shot-down all incoming drones. Debris from destroyed aircraft crashed into building entrances and shattered windows in at least 5 structures. Eye-witnesses saw smoke rising above residential areas and heard loud booms
Most of eastern Ukraine stayed under air-raid warnings through-out the night‚ with Kyiv and nearby regions getting multiple alerts. The military posted pics showing blown-up building entrance broken windows and downed power-lines lying across streets
