The 6th District race puts Barr against Democratic challenger Randy Cravens in a region that covers central and east-central Kentucky (where many voters focus on local economic issues). Meanwhile Guthrie faces-off with Democrat Hank Linderman in the states 2nd District which includes western and central parts of Kentucky
