From 2013 to 2022, she was a partner at Wiley Rein and in 2023 was a senior advisor in the United States Department of State's Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy. She was the deputy assistant secretary of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration from 2009 to 2013.
