A fire this morning destroyed a house located at Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
Details surrounding the incident have not yet been released by the Guyana Fire Service (GFS).
However, this publication understands that the blaze started at around 03:00hrs at the Fifth Street, Mon Repos, ECD property.
Several individuals are now homeless as a result of the incident.
