50-year-old man's knife rampage near Beijing school puts 5 in hospital
A knife-wielding man hurt five people including three kids near a well-known Beijing school today. Police caught the attacker right away‚ and doctors say none of the injuries are too bad
In todays afternoon a knife attack shook Beijings Haidian district when five people got hurt near a top-rated school. The attack happened round 3:20 pm local time at the cross-roads of Wanquanzhuang and Wanliu Zhong roads
The suspect Tang (age 50) targeted random passers-by‚ hurting three school-age kids and two grown-ups; police quickly caught him at the scene. All hurt people got quick help at nearby hospitals — doctors say their wounds arent life-threatening
The attack spot sits next to the well-known Zhongguancun No3 Primary School (one of the citys best educational places). Some social-media posts talk about it happening right by school gates; but police havent said yes or no to these claims yet
