G7 nations alert: North Korea's troops might join Russia's military actions
Ten leading world nations dont like North Korea sending its soldiers to help Russia. G7 members and their allies plan to work together against this new military partnership
G7 foreign ministers and three partner countries made a joint-statement today about North Koreas support of Russia (which shows how desperate Moscow became to get more military power). The group includes United States‚ Japan‚ Italy‚ Britain‚ Germany‚ France‚ Canada‚ plus South Korea‚ Australia and New Zealand
The ten-nation group pointed out several big problems: NK soldiers going to Russia; possible use of these troops in Ukraine; and unlawful missile deals between Moscow and Pyongyang. The ministers think this partnership might make the conflict bigger – which nobody wants
The international group has deep worries about missile tech going both ways between Russia and NK: this could make things more unstable in the region. They said theyll work with other countries to stop this. The ministers also made it clear that any military help from NK to Russia would make everything worse; they want to find ways to prevent this new-found partnership from growing
