Mexican forces find biggest-ever fentanyl stash worth $400m in cartel territory

Mexican security teams made history on Dec 3rd with an un-precedented fentanyl seizure in Sinaloa‚ finding drugs that could make 20-million doses (which would hurt crime groups finances by roughly $400-million)

The mega-operation happened in Ahome area where officers checked two buildings after getting tip-offs from locals. In the first spot they found 800-kg of the drug plus some chemical stuff and cars; while the second place had 300-kg more fentanyl with industrial equipment

This bust comes at an interesting time — just 5 months after Ismael “El Mayo“ Zambada got caught which made different Sinaloa groups start fighting. Also Donald Trump whose gonna be president soon says he wants Mexico to do more about drugs: if they dont he might add new taxes

The government also caught 5200 migrants on Dec 3rd showing its trying harder to control border issues. President Claudia Sheinbaum talked about this saying: “This long-term work finally paid off yesterday; its our biggest fentanyl catch ever“

This news shows a big change from before when ex-President Lopez Obrador always said Mexico wasnt making much fentanyl (even though lots of proof showed it was)
