Two months ago Pope Francis spoke about Israelʼs military moves being out-of-line; now hes taking stronger position. The head of Catholic Church points out that Gaza operations go way beyond normal war-time rules: this includes attacks in both Gaza and Lebanon areas
The Vatican leaders comments come from his new book thats coming out before his big jubilee celebration. Its his first direct call to look into genocide claims which shows a big shift in his position. The timing is important - coming right after his Sep/24 statement where he called Israelʼs actions “not matching proper military response“
