Russian doctor gets prison time for chat with fallen soldier's family

In a recent trial a senior medical worker got harsh punishment for speaking about military actions. Dr Nadezhda Buyanova who is 68-years old received a five-and-a-half year prison term for what officials call spreading false info about armed forces
The court case started after Anastasia Akinshina (mother of doctors young patient) made official complaint; her report stated that the pediatrician talked about her deceased husband – a soldier who died in combat operations. The doctor supposedly discussed legitimacy of military targets and war responsibility which led to her arrest early-2024
