A confidential peace proposal between Israel and Lebanon got leaked showing a 60-day truce plan (which includes Israeli forces pull-out within seven days). The document appeared in Israeli media this past saturday
Lebanese care-taker PM Najib Mikati shared some good news after talking to US middle-east envoy Amos Hochstein: “We could reach an agreement before Nov 5th‚“ he stated. The White House didnt confirm the exact details but mentioned that many drafts are in-progress
The situation got more complex after Naim Qassem became Hezbollahs new boss — he took over when Hassan Nasrallah was killed by Israel. Qassem said theyʼd accept peace if it meets their needs; however Israel hasnt agreed to any terms yet
