Accra Hearts of Oak lead a host of clubs in welcoming new logo of new GPL title sponsors betPawa

Ghana’s Premier Club, Accra Hearts of Oak has led a host of top-flight sides in welcoming the new title sponsors of the Ghana Premier League, GPL, betPawa as they unveiled their logo on Thursday.

The Phobians took to their media channels today, (Thursday) in posting a joint logo of the title sponsors with theirs, (Hearts of Oak) ahead of the start of the new campaign.

This initiative, has also been replicated by some of the clubs that will be competing in the 2022/23 GPL campaign King Faisal Babes, Bibiani Gold Stars and Dreams FC among others.

The Ghana Football Association, GFA, has announced betPawa as the new headline sponsor of the GPL beginning next season for a three-year period.

According to the GFA, the sponsorship is worth $6m and, this has come in at a good time when clubs in the league are in high demand of resources to balance their books.

The new Ghana football season has been penciled in to kick-off next month when 17 clubs will seek to dethrone Asante Kotoko as champions of the top-flight league.
