“When I said some people can sell their father for money, you guys insulted me” Reno Omokri weighs in on Phyna’s family drama

Former presidential media aide, Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, Phyna over her family drama.

Taking to his Instagram page, the controversial author noted how people insulted him when he said some people can sell their father because of money.

He threw a subtle shade at the reality star for not picking up her father’s calls after winning the show.

Reno shared how Phyna should have divided the N100 million she won from the show, referring to how in some cultures, Phyna would have presented that money to her parents for their blessings.

Reno revealed that his first salary was never paid to any pastor or sown into any show, rather he took 10% of his salary and shared it with his family members.

Since then, he hasn’t been chasing money, rather money has been chasing me.

“When I said some people can sell their own father for money, you guys insulted me. Now someone has won money and suddenly stopped picking up the father’s phone calls. In other cultures, as soon as you win that money, you will take it to your father and mother, kneel or prostrate before them, and then present it to them for their blessings. My first salary was not paid to any pastor or sown into any church. Tufiakwa! I took it to my father. He accepted everything. Then he took 10% out of it and returned the balance 90% to me, then shared that 10% to EVERY member of my family and asked them to pray for me. Since that day, I have not been chasing money. Money has been chasing me”.

Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Phyna became a hot topic on social media after her father granted an interview with a media outlet, narrating his ordeal with his daughter, who he claimed has abandoned him since winning the show.

He revealed that Phyna had made promises to him, which she failed to fulfill, and hasn’t set eyes on her since winning the show.

Reacting to it, the reality star had called out the media outlet, for tormenting her with texts and calls and for probing her with unnecessary questions.

She vowed to sue the publication for constantly defaming her, as she narrated her encounter with one of it’s workers.

In another tweet, Phyna revealed that in the history of dragging, this is the first time, she has cried and it touched her.

The Edo-born star who is no doubt pained by the interview further took to her Snapchat page to drag her family, telling the public to give her family her body when she dies so they could eat it.

Praying not to die young, she expressed disappointment that her family is granting interviews against her.
