Anamzoya God At Work As Axe Falls On Two NDA Deputies Over Alleged Corrupt Acts

Months after Dr. Alhassan Sulemana Anamzoya was hounded out at the Northern Development Authority over his abhorrence for corruption and the principled manner he managed the authority; the men who were his deputies and are believed to be behind some corrupt activities the much-publicized missing tricycles and unaccounted expenditures have been relieved of their jobs. 

Though, letters from the Presidency have not clearly stated why they have been sacked but sources within Government have indicated that the two, Patrick Seidu and Stephen Yir-Eru Engmen may have been involved in clandestine activities forging and inflating of contracts thereby robbing the state of huge sums of money.

The two, alongside top officials at the NDA, were being investigated by the Special Prosecutor for corruption related crimes after news emerged of figures of an old contract of 5.7 million Cedis being doubled to 10.4m Cedis and the signature of Dr. Anamzoya, the former CEO, was allegedly forged to facilitate payment.

Sources say the Special Prosecutor has concluded his investigations and the two deputies who have been implicated will soon be hauled before the Court on charges of attempt to steal, falsification of documents and abetment of crime.

Dr. Anamzoya who has since gone back to his old job as Senior Lecturer at University of Ghana at the time was deemed incompetent and unable to manage effevtively the Northern Development which was established to bridge development gap between the South and North of Ghana.

Many had disputed the incompetent tag put on the Doctor, saying his sacking was as a result of concerted effort by a cabal who got irritated by his lack of interest in towing a line which would have seen them turn the NDA into cash machines.

With the two deputies now relieved of their jobs and a board under which they served alongside their former Board also dissolved, it looks like the gods of Dr. Anamzoya has begun work and will soon exonerate him.
