Bad News To Kenyans And Transport Operators As EPRA Announces This

After a tough year, 2022, Kenyans welcomed the new year with a lot of hopes in the cost of living in the country. 2022 was one of the toughest years in the lives of many Kenyans seeing the prices go up shockingly. President William Ruto however promised to reduce the cost of living in the country by reducing the fuel prices. However, the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene have continued being high despite all the promises from President Ruto.

In today’s review of the prices of fuel, Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority have announced that the prices will remain unchanged for the next one month. This means, petrol will be retailing at Ksh177 while diesel will be sold at Ksh162 all per litre. On the other hand, a litre of Kerosene will remain at Ksh145. These high prices will continue affecting the prices of other commodities negatively. The cost of living will still remain high due to the high cost of petroleum products.
