The maiden edition of the Akoma FM/Verna Ashanti Marathon has blown the minds of the people of the Garden City, Kumasi, especially sponsors and partners of the event.

It was an august occasion spruced with colour, vivacity and excitement.

Athletes from all corners of the country trooped to Kumasi to compete, either as a professional move, or merely recreational.
