Changing Your Nationality To Ghana Does Not Warrant Automatic Selection – Black Stars Member States

Black Stars Technical Team Member, Richard Olele Kingston has served a humble notice to players who have recently switched allegiance to Ghana. The legendary goalkeeper believes that all Ghanaian players have equal opportunity of earning a call up to the Senior National team Black Stars of Ghana. The decision to switch allegiance to Ghana is not an automatic spot for call up.

‘Changing your nationality to Ghana doesn’t warrant you an automatic selection to the World cup. You are same as the local players or any other Ghanaian, you need to work hard and earn a call up by merit” Richard Olele Kingston told Sports Obama TV.

Inaki Williams leads a list of players that recently announced their decision to play for Black Stars of Ghana. Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey and Salisu Mohammed have what it takes to bring competition into the national side.

Inaki Williams will be competing with players such as Jordan Ayew, Felix Afena Gyan and Kamaldeen Sulemana for position.

Tariq Lamptey on the other hand will be hunting for a regular spot like any other full back, while Salisu Mohammed competes with Daniel Amartey and Alexander Djiku for position. They have the chance of earning a call up as soon as possible.
