Chiamaka Whose N4M Was Removed From Her Account Says She Has Recovered N3.23M From The Money

A young lady who made headlines recently after complaining that money had vanished from her bank account has admitted that she was been credited with N3.23 million out of the whole sum of N4 million.

Recently, the lady, Jennifer Chiamaka, raised the alarm that more than N4 million in her Zenith Bank account had been removed by an unidentified person and transferred to two accounts, pleading with the bank to return her funds. Furthermore, she made a suicide threat, claiming that the money represented her entire life savings, if it was not returned.

Later, the bank released a statement on the case in which it claimed that only N800,000 could be refunded because the bank was unaware of the balance.

Jennifer said that the bank had repaid the N3,239,400 that had been credited to her account last week when she provided an update on the situation on her Twitter account.

She went on to say that there was still N800,500 in the account, and the bank insisted that she obtain a court order before it could withdraw the funds from the account where they were put.
