Ghana international Dominic Nsobila won the man-of-the-match award as his Accra Lions side beat Tamale City FC in their league game played on Friday afternoon in the capital.
The midfielder, scored the only goal of the game as Lions recorded a 1-0 win over the league debutants in their second home game of the season.
This betPawa Premier League Matchday Three fixture, was played at the Accra Sports Stadium as Lions posted their second win of the campaign.
Nsobila, was very impressive in the middle of the park as Lions dominated play with the midfielder, scoring the lone goal of the game in the 9th minute.
The win, takes Lions to six points on the table from the three matches they have played, and they will look to build on this performance for the reminder of the campaign.
The league will continue on Saturday, Sunday and Monday with matches at all centers nationwide with Great Olympics playing King Faisal Babes this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
