The Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association yesterday launched the ” Talent Identification Program.”
The initiative is meant to unearth young and talented footballers across the country between the ages of 12-17 years.
Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Bernhardt Lippert says the initiative will help the growth of Ghana football.
“As a Technical Director together with our Technical Directorate, the top management..
“When I came to Ghana, everybody spoke only about the Black Stars.
“But if you have chances with the Black Stars nobody is interested [of] what happens down the bottom of the foundation of football.
“And today is the day where we implement the things in a different way from the bottom to the top.
“And I think this will bring all the fruits out in three, four, five years.
“We have a big foundation of top players.” Bernhardt Lippert said.
Juvenile football is expected to be revived under this initiative.
