How Some Ghanaians Reacted To Report That Sosu Has Filed For “Complete Overhaul” Of GLC

Readers can recall that on Friday, 23rd September 2022, there were reports of leakages of the entrance exams into the Ghana Law School.

Well, several lawyers have expressed their displeasure with what happened.

Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency, Francis Xavier-Sosu, has reportedly filed a Private Member’s bill in Parliament to request for the complete overhaul of the Ghana Legal Council.

In commenting on the leakage of the entrance exams, Honourable Francis Xavier-Sosu made some strong revelations.

“The Ghana Legal Council is an agency under the Attorney General and not a body without mistakes. The GLC needs a complete change and that is the only way we can solve the matters.”

” This is why myself and Honourable Dafeamekpor are championing a private member’s bill to change the composition, functions, membership and everything about the GLC”.

” The complete overhauling will help improve the quality of the legal education in Ghana. We need all citizens to come on board to help us progress on our course”.

Well, many Ghanaians have reacted vehemently to the ongoing public discussion. Should Honourable Francis Xavier-Sosu be applauded for filing that private member’s bill in Parliament? Why should he seek the support of citizens?
