“I Was Bullied For Not Being Pretty As A Child” – Actress, Beverly Naya

British-born Nigerian actress, Beverly Naya has recently narrated her tough experience growing up as a child as she spoke on how she was bullied for being unattractive.

The actress opened up during a recent interview with Chude and explained that she was always getting bullied for a lot of things and when she was younger, she wasn’t looking good as far as she and everyone around her was concerned, so people ridiculed her because of her appearance.

She further revealed that at some point, she blossomed as she felt beautiful for the first time when she was 16 years and began to own it for herself. However, according to the actress, this still posed as a problem as she still got bullied, ganged up on and beaten by people who felt she was owning her beauty way too much.

Beverly Naya revealed that this was a life changing moment for her as it made her decide she wanted to discover herself and she she didn’t want that to happen in the same school she was bullied in.

Beverly Naya also got emotional as she further spoke on how bullying affects one when they get older and how she still has to deal with the past experiences from when she was bullied.
