Here we go again. Once again.
After going radio silent for about three months since the last time he trashed his famous ex-wife, Jon Gosselin once again made news on Thursday for attacking Kate Gosselin.
In this latest case, he accused her of being an evil and duplicitous thief… who stole from their children.
In legal documents from 2019 (obtained by The Sun this week), Kate confessed to making two separate withdrawals of $50,000 from two of her kids’ trusts — but she said it was “to survive.”
This paperwork quotes Kate as claiming that the assets from Hannah’s and Collin’s accounts were being used to “meet her and the children’s expenses.”
However, this maneuver appears fishy to some because Gosselin ended up purchasing a $750,000 lakeside home in North Carolina that same year.
Hannah and Collin, it’s worth noting, are the two kids estranged from their mom; both have been living with their father for years.
“It’s disgusting and it’s morally wrong,” Jon told The Sun on Thursday, August 18.
“Parents are not supposed to withdraw any money from these accounts without permission and without drawing up paperwork that they will pay it back — but she has produced no paperwork and no payments have been made.
“You can’t just live off your kids’ money.”
The former couple — who anchored the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 for years, prior to getting divorced over a decade ago — set up a trust account for the kids back in the day… to keep their earnings from appearances and promotional activities safe until these sons an daughters turned 18.
But Kate dipped into it long before that in 2019, alleging she did so for the sake of these same kids.
Jon now says that Kate never paid the money back to the children, and also cites Kate’s court testimony from back then.
She said on record she was a “TV personality, author and registered nurse,” who made $40,000 per episode for her TLC show Kate Plus Dates, which aired in summer 2018 for a six-episode season.
One would think, therefore, that she wouldn’t need to go into Hannah and Collin’s trusts just to make ends meet.
Jon works these days as a DJ, seemingly spending most of his free time just hurling all the shade he can muster in Kate’s direction.
“It makes me feel disgusted.
“She has been on TV telling the world she has saved her children’s money when she’s actually been stealing from them — she’s a hypocrite,” Jon claimed on Thursday.
“There’s been no remorse from her at all. Now they’re 18 [and] she thinks she can get away scot-free.”
Jon and Kate got married in 1999.
They welcomed twins Mady and Cara in 2000.
Four years later, Kate gave birth to the pair’s set of sextuplets: Alexis, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Leah and Aaden, now 18.
The twins are now in college… Alex, Joel, Leah and Aaden live with Kate and don’t talk to Jon… while Collin and Hannah reside with Jon and don’t talk to Kate.
“[Communicating with] the children that live with Kate is very difficult because I don’t have an open relationship with them,” Jon told Entertainment Tonight in celebration of his sextuplets turning 18 on May 10.
“[Kate] alienated me from those kids. I think it was a poor parenting decision.
“It would’ve been much better if she would have been more open with them and explained things better.”
Kate Gosselin has not yet commented about the allegations that she stole this money from her two kids.
