Political activist and co-host of United Showbiz on UTV, Kwame A-Plus has reacted to what some Ghanaians did to the president during the Global Citizen Festival which was held in Accra on Saturday.
The president of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was heckled at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival stage at the Black Star Square in Accra. Some Ghanaians ‘booed’ at the president when he was delivering his speech at the event. A section of the crowd could be heard clapping and chanting ‘away, away’. The chants subsided and the president continued through with his remarks from the brightly lit stage. He was quite not bothered with the chants from the crowd.
This conduct by some Ghanaians have generated several reactions on social media. Kwame A-Plus has reacted to this trending story. Kwame A-Plus seems to be unhappy with how Akufo Addo was treated by his own people.
According to him, people are now talking about the negative aspects which happened during the festival but have failed to speak about the good parts. He sent strong message to them and urged them to do the needful. He believes that the president can take even revenge by introducing a new tax on Ghanaians for showing him such disrespect.
