LA Polyclinic Construction: Sammy Gyamfi Drops Fresh Allegation Against Health Minister

The National Communications Officer for the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi has dropped some allegations against the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa Central in the Bono Region of Ghana.

In an interview on Adom FM this morning, Sammy Gyamfi dropped several revelations about this administration and why there is hardship in the country.

In the course of the interview, Sammy Gyamfi alleged that the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyemang Manu is involved in some corrupt activities towards the construction of the LA Polyclinic. He added that the health facility has been on the ground for the past two years because of the minister’s corrupt activities.

Sammy Gyamfi challenged Adom FM to investigate into this matter because he is confident and sure that they will come into conclusion that what he is saying is the truth. He also added that the finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta is also aware of what Kwaku Agyemang Manu has done.

The hospital was closed down in March 2020 to pave the way for its redevelopment due to the dilapidated nature of the structures.

Two years on, work at the project site is yet to see any significant progress. Many residents have complained about the slow pace of work at the site over a year after President Akufo-Addo cut sod for the construction. It mainly served residents of La, Osu, Teshie, Nungua and its surrounding areas with their healthcare needs.
