Naira Scarcity: Obi not in tune with suffering masses like Tinubu, says Onoh

Vanguard reports that Joseph Onoh who is the Spokesperson of the Presidential campaign council of Bola Tinubu has accused Peter Obi of not feeling the pain of the masses by backing up the CBN’s policy in the redesigning of the Naira note despite the scarcity rocking the note. He also described as insensitive a directive of the Central Bank Governor when he asked depositors of the Naira note who came to withdraw their money to wait in the queue or stay under canopies.

Do recall that Obi had during an interview backed the redesigning of the Naira note by the CBN as he said it was going to have long term benefits as he also asked Nigerians to desist from criticizing both the Apex bank and commercial banks. Onoh accused Obi of treating the crisis of Nigeria with leniency unlike his counterpart in the APC who is trying to understand the plight of the masses. He claimed Obi is Obidiently supporting the hardship of Nigeria by his comments.
