Newly signed Asante Kotoko Brazilian striker Matheus Medieros De Souza has started training with the club as he aims to impress chieftains at the club.
De Souza, is on a six-month deal at the Garden City club with the option to extend by a year if both parties can reach an agreement at the end of the season.
The striker joined his teammates at the Atonso Astro Turf in Kumasi as they begin preparations for their midweek away league game with Karela United at the CAM Park, Anyinase.
The player took part in the session ball work with Kotoko’s technical team headed by Seydou Zerbo, taking charge of affairs.
De Souza will look to impress at training, hoping to be part of the travelling party to the Western region as Kotoko continue with the defence of the league title they won last season.
He could made his debut for the Porcupines in Thursday’s game as Kotoko look to maintain their six game unbeaten run in the league.
The Porcupines are second on the table with 24 points after 14 matches, one point behind leaders Aduana FC going into the midweek action.
