NPP Dep. Communications Director ‘Silenced’ After Felix Kwakye Made A Comparison About Bawumia

As the economic fortunes of the country keeps dwindling, there have been various debates between the communicators of the two leading parties in the country. Major economic rating institutions have downgraded the Ghanaians economy and called for action. Indeed, the government itself has seen the tide turn against them and had to seek financial assistance from the International Monetary Fund.

However, the question on the lips of many are about why the government had to wait for so long before seeking for help. The opposition NDC had alerted the government to the incoming doom but they failed to listen. On Good morning Ghana today, Thursday, October 6, 2022, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a former Deputy Communications called on Vice President Bawumia to apologize and resign as the Head of the Economic Management Team.

According to Felix with the resume of Bawumia and the names he was accorded with he expected more from Bawumia. Interestingly, Felix compared Bawumia with Harry Maguire of Manchester United. Harry Maguire in 2019 became the world’s most expensive defender when Manchester United signed him from Leicester City. As one of the most expensive players many felt he will perform considering the fee he came with. Sad to say that he has been abysmal.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu explained that Bawumia came with titles and a big name and yet has flattered to deceive. He questioned the economic prowess of Bawumia because according to him all Bawumia knows how to do is to talk prior to 2016 and yet when he got the chance to lead he has failed.

As Felix spoke, Kamal Deen, an NPP Deputy Communications Director just watched on lost for words. Apparently, he was shocked by the kind of words used on his boss. Kamal looked on dumbfounded as Felix called on his boss to apologize to Ghanaians for failing dragging the whole nation into a mess with him. questions have been raised as to whether the NDC under JM could have done better if they were in power?
