The National Council of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) on Thursday (February 2, 2023) meet to decide on a date for the party’s presidential and parliamentary primaries.
Graphic Online understands that meeting ended inconclusive on the date.
The meeting was held at Alisa Hotel at 2 PM.
Among issues that were on the agenda for consideration Graphic Online understands were when to open nominations for both elections.
The meeting had earlier been scheduled for January 31, 2023, but was postponed to today following the absence of some of the Council members.
There are suggestions November 2023 is on the table for consideration for the presidential primary and January 2024 for parliamentary primaries ahead of the 2024 elections.
