Obi Is Not Frugal and That’s Why Wike Was Stunned When He Got To His House’ – Oshiomhole

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, former Governor of Edo State and former APC National Chairman, criticized Presidential candidate Peter Obi of the Labour Party for portraying himself as a common man to the Nigerian people.

Oshiomhole made these remarks during a campaign event in Ward 1, Agenebode, Etsako East LGA of Edo State. He claimed that many Nigerians believe that Peter Obi is a man who has two shoes and one watch, and is not as frugal as he claims.

Oshiomhole cited Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, who recently stated that Peter Obi’s house contains more luxury than his own. Oshiomhole alleges that Peter Obi is hiding his wealth to gain sympathy votes from average Nigerians.

In Oshiomhole’s words, “Peter Obi claims that Nigeria is not a producing nation, and I agree. But who are the importers? It’s Peter Obi. How can someone who makes money from importing tell me they’ll produce?”

Oshiomhole also pointed out that Governor Wike was shocked when he visited Peter Obi’s house and saw the extent of its luxury.
