Daddy Freeze, a well known Nigerian social commentator took to his verified social media platform (Facebook page) to narrate his encounter with a POS (point of sale) agent in the mid hours of today.
Daddy Freeze said, “one POS agent collected one thousand naira (N1,000) from me today when I withdrew five thousand naira (5,000) new notes through him.” He added, “now I want to know if we are really okay because I don’t understand why I had to give someone six thousand naira to get five thousand naira.”
Speaking further, Daddy Freeze said, “I needed more money so the only option was to go and queue at the ATM. When I got there, I saw people fighting seriously.” He added, “well, I cannot blame them fully but partially, I think we need to change ourselves if we want our situations to change.”
Lastly, Daddy Freeze said, “although our leaders are responsible for what happens in our country but we also need to learn to follow due processes like queuing at the right time and respecting ourselves.”.
