According to the report from Onua TV, the police officer by name Evans Appawu Gyima was beaten because, he was at a check point where he blocked the road in other to enable an accident car to be towed from the road to ensure safety. Unfortunately, military officers driving a vehicle with the registration number 52GA69 reached the check point. The military officers did not understand why the police office should block the road because of a towing vehicle. There was an argument between the two parties and the military men overpowered the police man as they beat him severely.
