The marvel cinematic universe recently released the Thor movie and to our surprise was one Ghanian artist featured in the movie.

Akosia is a US based Ghanaian artist whose music inspires a lot of people Ghanaians. Recently she took to Facebook to announce that she will be featuring in the Thor movie.

Sharing her excitement in the feature, the musician took to her Facebook page and wrote;

“I have never felt more powerful, more beautiful than when I was Bast in Thor:Love and Thunder ❤️‍🔥

So much hard work went on behind the scenes to transform me into a Goddess. Luca Vannella created my beautiful golden braids, my costume was designed by Mayes C Rubeo and my intricate helmet was hand sculpted by James Woodley.

I had so much fun with the crew at Odd Studios getting my life cast bust made for the team to work with in my absence. Once we started filming I was on set everyday at 3am with Kala Harrison and Emily James. they applied my makeup, prosthetics, golden arm tattoos, purple long nails and we’d all laugh while they did it.”
