“They Are Gaining Their Dignity Back” – Liverpool Fans And Klopp Pleased With The New Formation.

Liverpool, once had their time in the sun, that was during the 2019 season and they relished it. Back then, they showed everyone what they were made of and that totally rocked the football world. A once forgotten club started gaining the support from lost fans as well as its popularity again.

However, in recent years, they have dwindled or maybe other clubs are the better. After a disheartening and cold defeat from Napoli in their first match of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, they were able to pull a comeback against Ajax after been down by a goal.

Today they faced Rangers and to the utmost delight of Liverpool fans, they were able to grab a win.

In the early minutes of the match, Trent Alexander Arnold majestically netted in a free kick to jump start the game. The 7th minute marked Liverpool’s lead.

At the 53rd minute, Mohammed Salah, who was once a sensation, scored a penalty goal to double their lead. It was an absolutely thrilling goal that gave hope and the prospect of a win to the fans. That penalty goal marked Mohammed Salah’s 35th goal in UEFA Champions League.

The match ended 2 – 0 and Liverpool were able to take the 3 points and send the visitors back with nothing but defeat. They retain their 2nd position on the Group A table with 6 points.

Jurgen Klopp was so delighted to see that his new formation 4-3-2-1 worked a treat against Rangers. Liverpool fans are also proud and are able to say with confidence “You’ll never walk alone”. Hopefully, they can carry on with this stellar performance in their next game and ultimately, throughout the season.

Darwin Nunez also got some credit by fans for improving as the game went. Fans praised him for his resilience and impressive performance throughout the game.
