Barca in talks with Messi over return

Barcelona are in talks with Lionel Messi about a return to the Nou Camp, according to the club’s vice president. Messi arrived at Barcelona as a teenager in 2001, joining the club’s famed La Masia youth academy, and made his first-team debut in 2003 as a 16-year-old before leaving for Paris Saint-Germain in 2021. According to reportsin GOAL, Mikel Arteta “dreams of signing” Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati, who has impressed numerous clubs across Europe in recent seasons. The 20-year-old is considered one of the hottest young talents on the continent, but despite already making 96 appearances for Barca, he’s struggled to consistently start games under Xavi this season.

Potter: Mount attitude ‘top’ despite difficulties

Graham Potter has praised the way Mason Mount has conduced himself during a difficult season that seen him linked with a move away from Chelsea.
