The woman in your picture has explained how a young Ghanaian lady seeking employment ended up getting Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Speaking in the video, the woman said that there is a lady she knows who has completed university but stayed in the house for about 5 years without employment. She visited a female friend who is also unemployed but living a luxurious lifestyle. This friend has rented a well-furnished apartment and she also has her own car, meanwhile, she is not working.
She always tells her friend that she is going on a long trip and will spend one or two weeks before she returns. This lady who was seeking employment stayed with her friend for one month and a week without her friend complaining so she thought she has a good friend. One day, there was a party that this lady needs to attend but she slept off. The next morning, an elderly woman came to the apartment and started having a serious argument with this lady for not attending the party.
The lady told her friend who was seeking employment that the elderly woman is her “Godmother”. It was after this that the “Godmother” started asking her daughter about her new friend staying in the apartment. The lady then said that she is her friend and that she is looking for employment for the past five years. The “Godmother” then told her that she can help her get a job. She told her that there is a party coming and that she should come with her friend to that they talk things over.
The lady decided not to go but her friend convinced her, gave her a dress and they went to the party. The “Godmother” introduced this lady who is seeking employment to an elderly man. According to this woman in the video, the elderly man is one of the senior bankers in Ghana. The lady told him her problem and the man assisted her to get a job in the banking sector.
Now, this lady is not unemployed anymore. She has got money, rented her own, buy her own car and she is living a luxurious life just like her friend. One day, the elderly man who assisted her got employment invited this lady and her to a party. They had a good time, and get drunk and the elderly man was able to sleep with the lady who was seeking employment.
After this, the lady got a gentleman who was ready to marry her in a church, however, the marriage counsellors told them to go and do an HIV test. The test revealed that the lady is HIV positive. The marriage was cancelled. The lady has not slept with anybody in her life except the elderly man who assisted her to get employment. She, therefore, decided to locate where this man only to find out that the man is dead.
The friend who introduced her to her “Godmother” has been sleeping with a lot of big men but hasn’t got any HIV. The moral lesson is not all who claim to be friends are good friends. Use this lady’s life experience as a warning and stay away from trouble.
