We Collected N2 Million As Ransom From Our Kidnapped Victims And Kept Them At Gwalo Forest -Suspects

Isyaku Anaruwa Abdullahi and Muhammadu Sani Yakubu has been arrested by the Niger State Police Command for terrorizing Gwagwalada, FCT Abuja; Lambata, Gurara and Kafin-Koro, Paikoro local government areas of Niger State, Daily Post reports. The Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, PRO, DSP Wasiu Abiodun who confirmed the arrest of the suspects revealed the seven kidnapped victims were rescued from the dens of the kidnappers. However, the suspects while confessing to the crime on Saturday noted that they collected N2.1 million as ransom from their last kidnapped victims and they kept them at Gwalo forest. The suspects said, “We collected N2 million as ransom from our kidnapped victims and kept them at Gwalo forest.”

The suspects while further speaking to newsmen revealed that they’ve been in the kidnapping business for long and the Gwalo forest has been their den in which they keep their kidnapped victims untill their family members pay and if the families of their kidnapped victims prolong the payment, they normally kill their victims and allow them to decay in the forest.

Nevertheless, the Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, PRO, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, noted that the rescued victims has been allowed to reunite with their kidnapped victims and they suspects would be charged to court very soon.
