Ghanaian Drill Music Artiste Dovi Stephen, more popularly known as Yhaw Energy was born on 22nd July,1999 in the volta region of Ghana to Noel Kwaku Dovi & Odet Akos Agbedesi. Yhaw Energy hails from the Volta region of Ghana who speaks English, Ewe and Twi. He is the first born among his four siblings.

After his basic school,he joined Emit Electronic Institute because of his love for technology and the zeal to gain more proficiency in technology.Furthermore he tried his best to be well vested in graphic designing as an interdisciplinary aspect of fine arts to help him in his music career on intensive course in graphic designing.

In his early years as a teenager searching for his niche in life he realized that all he desired was music, particularly drill music. He never gave up despite the hardship upcoming musicians go through such as no sponsorship, rejection on some platforms for performances as an upcoming did not deter him of his dream to become a drill musician or drill artiste.

Drill is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in Chicago streets in the early 2010s. It is sonically similar to the trap music subgenre and lyrically similar to the gangsta rap subgenre.

Yhaw Energy one of the velocious drill artiste in Ghana currently has one chart-topping hit single dubbed“ Poverty “ which has become a household name in Ghana to his credit. And has also received a number of “hit” rotations and play time on radio stations.

Yhaw Energy’s determination is to be more than Digga D one of the best drill musicians in the world currently.
