JDF welcomes 256 new members

Fifty-eight females and 198 males are the newest members of the regular arm of the Jamaica Defence Force, after successfully completing a one-year service period under the Jamaica National Service Corps programme.

The passing out parade for the 256 people took place at Up Park Camp on Friday.

Their training included the Basic Fitness Standard Test, community service and the military swim test.
