A man who worked for the Westmoreland Municipal Corporation was shot and killed outside of a funeral home in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland on Monday, August 8.
Dead is Adrian Samuels, otherwise called ‘Dog’, of Sharleen community in Savanna-La-Mar.
According to reports, Samuels reportedly rode his bicycle from his home to the Savanna-La-Mar Transport Centre at 5:30 a.m. Upon reaching the location of Doyley’s Funeral Home, he was reportedly attacked by armed men who shot him several times. The gunmen then fled the area.
The wounded man was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigations continue.
