Chief Justice Bryan Sykes says discussions are underway to have court sittings at night to facilitate motorists wishing to pay outstanding traffic tickets.
He says this is to help with the increased number of people turning up at traffic court in an attempt to remain in good standing with the law.
According to Justice Sykes, the details will have to be worked out with stakeholders, including the police who would help to ensure the safety of people attending night court.
Justice Sykes said this would be an additional 20 hours of court per week.
Saturday court sittings are also being considered.
