One Don Gang Trial: Inconsistencies in report on execution plot not relevant

Chief Justice Brian Sykes continuing his summation in the One Don Gang Trial on Tuesday, said inconsistencies in the report given by two former gangsters about the execution of a plot to kill a man called Outlaw in November 2017, were not relevant.

Attorneys representing defendants Andre Bryan, Tareek James, and Carl Beech during cross-examination last year pointed to inconsistencies in the statements given by the witnesses and their testimony in court.

The attorneys had also highlighted the discrepancies between the account of the two main witnesses who contacted Mr. Bryan after Outlaw was killed.

Reviewing the inconsistencies, the judge asserted that they are not of great significance.

Justice Sykes said the critical information relates to what happened before the shooting and the details of the planning.
