Policeman under investigation for the fatal shooting of two men at party in Clarendon

Investigators attached to the Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM, are collecting statements from eyewitnesses to yesterday's fatal shooting of two men by a Constable at a party in Frankfield, Clarendon.

Jerome Smith and Clayton Pink, both of James Hill, Frankfield, were shot dead when the Constable opened fire on Mr Pink during a dispute at the party.

It's alleged that the Constable opened fire after he was hit in the face with a bottle by Mr Pink.

Mr Smith, who was a bystander, was also hit by a bullet.

INDECOM boss Hugh Faulkner told Radio Jamaica News that the officer's firearm was seized and he will be interviewed on Tuesday.
