A double murder investigation is now underway, as the second man who was injured in a shooting incident on Ward Avenue in Manchester on Saturday, October 1 has succumbed to his injuries.
He has been identified as 37-year-old Dale Clarke of Caledonia Avenue, Manchester. Clarke died at hospital on Tuesday, October 04. Romario Allen, otherwise called ‘Rue Rue’ also died from injuries he sustained in that incident.
Reports are that about 2:15 a.m., Allen and Clarke were among persons standing on the roadway when a motor car drove up and several explosions were heard. When the shooting subsided, they were seen with gunshot wounds. They were assisted to hospital, where they died.
The Major Investigation Division is now probing the incident.
