A St. Mary fisherman is facing criminal charges after he allegedly stole his brother's identity and used it to obtain a driver's licence.
Errol Baggo, of Frontier in Port Maria, was arrested on Monday.
He was charged by officers attached to the Revenue Protection Division with two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering forged documents, obtaining a forged driver's licence and conspiracy.
It is alleged that Mr. Baggo, 34, stole the identity of his brother, Delando Baggo, and used the information to obtain a driver's licence.
The fraud was uncovered by the police during a spot check.
He was later arrested and charged.
Mr. Baggo was offered bail in the sum of $100,000. He is set to appear in the Port Maria Resident Magistrate's Court on February 9.
