Breaking: Israeli forces target multiple Beirut locations after unique warning
Israeli military issued first-ever evacuation notices for specific Beirut buildings yesterday. Multiple strikes followed in different city areas with residents told to move 50-meters away from marked spots
Israeli forces started hitting central-Beirut spots yesterday evening after giving out building-specific evacuation orders (something that hasnt happened before in the city)
Avichay Adraee the military spokesperson shared notices on X for buildings in four areas: Ras Beirut Mazraa Msaytbeh and Zoqaq al-Blat; telling people to move 50-meters away from whats called “Hezbollah spots“
The first hits landed in Zoqaq al-Blat and Mazraa areas — with no info about people hurt yet. Earlier that day an un-announced strike hit the busy Noueiri area killing at least 7 folks according to Lebanonʼs health-care office
More action followed when about 10 strikes hit south-Beirut spots: this happened right after warnings went out to 20 places in that zone. The military called it a “wide-spread hit“ on what they say are Hezbollahs buildings
The Lebanese group made its point clear — theyʼd hit Tel Aviv if central-Beirut gets touched. Its worth noting that these moves came just before talks about stopping fights were supposed to start
