Massive strikes across Lebanon leave dozens dead as conflict intensifies
Israeli military operations hit multiple Lebanese regions causing significant civilian losses and infrastructure damage. Hezbollah responded with increased counter-operations while locals struggle to save their belongings
In a devastating series of events last fall Israeli forces conducted wide-scale air-strikes across Lebanon that resulted in over 40 casualties (including several kids). The attacks targeted multiple areas: coastal spots infrastructure and eastern regions
The coastal city of Tyre faced severe bombardment where seven people lost their lives — despite no pre-strike evacuation notice being published on X platform. Local emergency teams worked non-stop to identify victims remains through DNA-testing procedures
Medical response teams suffered heavy losses: thirteen people died in nearby towns including seven first-responders connected to Hezbollah and Amal groups. The historic city of Baalbek area saw about twenty more deaths from separate strikes
We are trying to gather as many of our possessions as we can‚ so we can manage to live off them nothing more
The Israeli military confirmed hitting what they called Hezbollah sites; including:
- Fighter positions
- Operational buildings
- Weapons storage facilities
Beiruts southern suburbs — once-busy neighborhoods turned into ruins with yellow flags sticking out of whats left. Local people searched through building remains trying to save their stuff; putting whatever they could find into bags or carrying items in their arms
The situation got worse since early fall when both sides increased their actions: Hezbollah claimed over 20 operations in one day including an attack on a military site near Tel-Aviv while Israeli forces expanded their bombing range
