The Facebook page “GMA News” has shared the photos of a street vendor turned into vulcanizing boy after he lost his livelihood due to the health crisis. The photos garnered various reactions from the netizens.

Mang Oliver lost his job as a street vendor due to the effects of the coronavirus disease. Instead of begging money from other people, he tried street vulcanizing along Lawton, Manila for a living.

Reyes Jose is vulcanizing flat tires of bicycles and motorcycles to earn money and support the financial necessities of his family. The hardworking man said “kahit magkano po ang ibayad nila. Minsan, nauutangan pa ako,” when he was asked about the price of his service.
