Sheikh Mohammed sends out reassuring Eid message

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has sent out a reassuring Eid Al Fitr message to Muslims around the world.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Sheikh Mohammed acknowledged that this year, Eid would be "different". "Yet the kindness, communication and love continues despite the distance," he tweeted.

"I wish people get closer to each other with each passing year. I wish them more happiness and hope they stay safe and healthy," he added.
