Cops From Three Police Forces Applaud Detective's Son After Final Chemotherapy Treatment

The son of a detective with the East Hartford Police Department was applauded and escorted home by police officers from three different local forces after he finished his final chemotherapy treatment on Tuesday, September 29, police said. The Wethersfield Police Department shared this video of officers from their department alongside East Hartford and Hartford police applauding Danny as he left the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center campus in Hartford on Tuesday. Danny’s father is an East Hartford detective, police told Storyful. “Thank you to the amazing staff at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center for everything you do to keep our children healthy!” the Wethersfield Police Department wrote on Facebook.
